Getting things done evernote5/7/2023 ![]() It's also automatically on the web, just go to and login. The app is on my phone, laptop and tablet. Also, I have Evernote with me wherever I go. I like Evernote because it's easy to adapt the GTD method within it. For me, I want a simple tool to capture what I might need to recall in the future, manage my tasks and projects, and be able to find what I'm looking for quickly. Just try to avoid the analysis paralysis that can happen when looking for the perfect GTD app. ![]() As a pragmatist, I'm a firm believer in whatever works for you as an individual. However, my personal favorite is still Evernote because of the flexibility and simplicity, and it's what I already know. I've tried a few of them and they all have some advantage. There are a plethora of apps available to make use of the GTD concepts. One big question you might come away with is what is the best tool to implement the process. You'll quickly learn about David's five step process, which is tool-agnostic. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend that you do. If you've read the original from 2001 or the latest and greatest from 2015, you know what I mean. The title explains the gist of the book in just a few words. David Allen's book, Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-free Productivity, has been a life-changing book for many people, including me.
